Takht-i-Bahi and Sahr-i-Bahlol
UNESCO inscribed the Buddhist Ruins of Takht-i-Bahi and the neighbouring city remains at Sahr-i-Bahlol in 1980. UNESCO describes Takht-i-Bahi as a Buddhist monastic complex founded in the early 1st century and notes that its hilltop location helped it remain exceptionally well preserved.
